On 18 October 2023, Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman agreed to enhance cooperation in areas such as trade, investment, and green energy during their meeting in Riyadh. They also focused on public sector development and the digital economy, with both countries welcoming ongoing exchanges of best practices.

Prime Minister Lee highlighted Singaporean interest in Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which aims to diversify the Saudi economy beyond oil. The leaders also discussed global and regional issues, including Middle Eastern tensions, and explored further business collaboration across various sectors, such as fintech, energy, and logistics.
