Audi Driver Involved in Two Accidents at Once in Tense Traffic Incident

A simple mistake turns into a double mishap as the Audi driver faces a rear-end collision followed by a door impact with a passing van.

A driver’s bad luck was on full display on April 8 when his silver Audi was involved in two accidents in quick succession. The incident took place around 5:11 pm at a traffic junction along Old Tampines Road, with a dashcam video of the event shared on social media the following morning.
The video captures the moments leading up to the first collision, where the Audi driver, having braked at the junction, was rear-ended by a white BMW SUV. The BMW driver, who appeared to have failed to brake in time, immediately exited the vehicle to apologize. However, things didn’t stop there for the Audi driver. As he attempted to get out of his car, he failed to check his blind spot, and his door struck a passing van, causing damage to both the door and the side-view mirror.
The video sparked mixed reactions online. Some netizens blamed the van driver for following too closely behind a motorbike, while others defended the van, stating it had no fault in the situation. Several commenters pointed out that the Audi driver should have checked for approaching vehicles before opening his door, emphasizing the importance of vigilance when exiting a vehicle.
