Popular HR Podcast to Launch in Multiple Languages
CLEVELAND, Oct. 12, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Evergreen Podcasts, a podcast production company based in Ohio, is set to expand its offerings to include multilingual content in response to increasing podcast listener growth. This initiative reflects a broader trend within the industry to develop a diverse array of non-English podcasts, as highlighted by Insider Intelligence in 2022. Evergreen Podcasts is partnering with one of its top shows, The Chad & Cheese Podcast, to introduce episodes in four additional languages: French, Spanish, German, and Portuguese.
The French version of the show launched on October 10, strategically coinciding with the Unleash World 2022 event in Paris on October 12-13, 2022. Co-host Chad Sowash, a former U.S. Army Infantry Drill Sergeant and veteran of online recruiting, emphasized the global relevance of the podcast’s themes surrounding recruitment and workplace issues. “The issues we discuss on the show around recruitment and work are truly global,” he noted, making the case for the multilingual expansion.
Joel Cheesman, who has co-hosted the podcast with Sowash since 2017 and has 25 years of recruiting industry experience, echoed this sentiment. “The pandemic and the subsequent trend toward a work-from-home world means recruiting and workforce issues have truly gone global,” Cheesman remarked. He believes that offering the podcast in multiple languages is a natural evolution to support a more globalized workforce.
To facilitate this expansion, The Chad & Cheese Podcast is collaborating with Veritone, Inc., the creator of aiWARE, an advanced enterprise AI platform. This partnership includes access to a multilingual custom AI voice solution, allowing for transcription and translation of podcast episodes. Veritone’s technology enables podcast hosts to maintain their established voice identities while localizing content, thereby increasing audience reach and ad revenue.
Dubbed “HR’s most dangerous podcast” in industry circles, The Chad & Cheese Podcast addresses talent acquisition challenges and has achieved 230,000 downloads so far this year. It is ranked among the top 20 shows in Evergreen Podcast’s expanding network.
