Charge+ Wins Government Tender for 4,000 EV Charging Stations in Singapore

Expanding the EV Charging Network Across Central and Western Regions

Charge+, an electric vehicle (EV) charging service provider, has secured a significant government tender to install and manage 4,000 EV charging stations across Singapore. This initiative aims to enhance the charging infrastructure in central and western regions, expanding Charge+’s operations to four out of five designated zones in the country.

Recently, Charge+ introduced 153 charging stations at 50 locations in Singapore, marking a milestone in the government’s initial tender for establishing an official EV charging network. Goh Chee Kiong, CEO of Charge+, expressed enthusiasm for the project, stating, “With the experience from the first governmental tender for EV charging, we look forward to the speedy implementation of this new charging network in HDB car parks, which will contribute to our corporate target of at least 10,000 charging points by 2030.”

Charge+ previously won the first governmental EV charging tender in September 2021, positioning the company as a key player in Singapore’s EV infrastructure development. Looking ahead, Charge+ aims to extend its EV charging network beyond Singapore to encompass regions in Malaysia and Thailand.
