Singapore Airlines (SIA) has once again been recognised as the top airline in the world, securing an impressive 28th position in Fortune magazine’s prestigious annual list of the most admired companies globally. This achievement places SIA as the highest-ranked Singaporean company in the top 50.

The rankings are based on a comprehensive survey of 3,380 executives, directors, and securities analysts worldwide, who were asked to select the ten companies they most admired. Companies are evaluated on nine key factors, including management quality, innovation, and global competitiveness.

In previous years, SIA’s rankings have steadily improved: from 31st place in 2023 to 29th in 2024, and now 28th in 2025. It is the second-highest ranked Asian company, with Toyota leading the region at 25th. Notably, SIA ranks ahead of some of the world’s most well-known multinational companies, such as Starbucks, Accenture, Visa, and Samsung.

This year marks the 23rd occasion SIA has featured on this distinguished list, showcasing the airline’s ongoing commitment to excellence. Despite the list being largely dominated by US companies, SIA’s ranking highlights its global influence and remarkable consistency in the competitive airline industry.

In addition to its impressive global ranking, SIA emerged as the top airline, surpassing Delta Air Lines, which took second place. Lufthansa ranked third, followed by SkyWest and Japan’s ANA sharing the fourth spot.

Goh Choon Phong, CEO of Singapore Airlines, expressed gratitude for the recognition, stating, “At Singapore Airlines, we are committed to setting new benchmarks in air travel and maintaining our industry leadership. This honour is a testament to the passion and dedication of our people, who relentlessly strive to provide a world-class experience. We also wish to thank our customers and partners for their unwavering support.”
