Chinese manufacturer showcases advanced DC100 electric motorcycle, aiming to enhance the European riding experience.
On November 11, 2022, Davinci Motor, a rapidly growing Chinese maker of high-performance robotic electric motorcycles, revealed its plans to enter the European Union market during EICMA, the world’s premier motorcycle exhibition held from November 8-13 in Milan.
At Booth Q70 in Hall 13, Davinci presented its cutting-edge DC100 two-wheeler, developed in collaboration with Tsinghua University, Beijing. The DC100 represents a blend of craftsmanship and technological innovation, symbolizing Davinci’s commitment to excellence.
“We are thrilled to make our official entry into the EU market, a key region for Davinci’s global strategy,” said Rosanna Libia, Davinci Motor’s International Business Manager. She emphasized the importance of the brand and the DC100’s role in showcasing their advancements in research and development.
The DC100, which was initially introduced to the Chinese market in July 2021, has already entered trial production at the company’s new manufacturing facility in Zibo, China, opened in August 2022.
The futuristic DC100 is designed to offer European riders a superior and safer riding experience, balancing acceleration, speed, and range. With the Davinci app, users can access key features, including a phone holder that transforms their smartphone into an interactive dashboard providing real-time data on vehicle status, range, and navigation.
Davinci has streamlined the DC100’s intelligent control system for ease of use, allowing for responsive acceleration and smooth navigation. Features such as forward and reverse assistance, along with uphill and downhill support, contribute to better vehicle control. The DC100 also boasts maximum speeds of 5 km/h and 7 km/h due to its advanced robotic perception capabilities.
