First Cryptocurrency POS Machine and Multiple Awards for Innovation
Singapore, Nov 9, 2022 – Digital Treasures Center (DTC), a payment service provider operating in both web2.0 and web3.0 environments, has celebrated significant achievements following its acquisition of full payment licenses from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) in August 2022.
DTC has made history as the first payment company in Singapore to introduce a point-of-sale (POS) machine that accepts cryptocurrencies. The launch took place during the Singapore Fintech Festival, highlighting DTC’s commitment to pioneering advancements in the cryptocurrency payment sector. Alice Liu, CEO and Co-founder of DTC, stated, “The DTC team has worked hard to ensure that merchants can seamlessly accept crypto in their physical stores. Now consumers can pay via cryptocurrencies at physical stores through our POS machine seamlessly.”
This innovative POS machine empowers merchants to accept cryptocurrency payments while providing immediate conversion to Singapore Dollars or US Dollars, all while incurring transaction fees significantly lower than traditional credit card payments. Notable retailers already utilizing DTC’s services include 35A Scotts, a private clubhouse; H2 Hub, a watch retailer; Lumin Eye Specialist; and premium car dealers GL Auto and F1 Auto.
DTC currently supports transactions in Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), USD Tether (USDT), and USD Coin (USDC).
