Three-Year Agreement Aims to Strengthen Services for Italian Consumers and Businesses
On September 27, 2022, Synchronoss Technologies, Inc. announced a three-year extension of its partnership with Fastweb, a prominent telecommunications provider in Italy. This agreement will see Fastweb utilize the Synchronoss Email Suite to enhance support for millions of both new and existing customers in Italy.
Fastweb, which serves approximately 2.7 million wireline and 2.8 million mobile subscribers, is committed to fostering digital transformation to create a more connected, inclusive, and environmentally sustainable future. The company boasts one of Europe’s most extensive proprietary ultra-broadband infrastructures, having invested over 10 billion euros in its network.
Having relied on Synchronoss’s email solutions since 1999, Fastweb has recently transitioned to the latest iteration of the Synchronoss Email Suite. This suite is designed specifically for telecommunications operators, ensuring high levels of reliability, scalability, and security while providing a user-friendly experience across various devices.

The updated Synchronoss Email Suite includes the Mx9 core messaging platform, known for its scalability and fault resilience, along with integrated encryption to protect data privacy. This suite features a modern web user interface for email, contacts, and events, as well as a Huge Mail feature for large file transfers. Additionally, the Razorgate feature enhances security by filtering out spam and mitigating risks associated with phishing and viruses.
Globally, leading telecommunications operators utilize the Synchronoss Email Suite, which manages over 250 million mailboxes worldwide.
