On April 1, 2024, Singapore’s Ministry of Trade and Industry announced the appointment of three new members to the board of JTC Corporation, alongside the reappointment of Tan Chong Meng as chairman. Tan has been serving on the JTC board since April 2019.

The newly appointed members are:

Andrew Kwan, Group Managing Director at Commonwealth Capital.
Aaron Beng, Chief of Defence Force at the Ministry of Defence (Mindef).
Tan Chin Hwee, Chairman of Singapore Trade Data Exchange (SGTraDex) Services and Chairman of the Energy Supply Resilience Advisory Panel at the Energy Market Authority.
Alongside these new appointments, other board members reappointed include Goh Swee Chen, Chairman of the NTU Board of Trustees; Judy Lee, Managing Director of Dragonfly and CEO of Dragonfly Capital Venture; and Muthukrishnan Ramaswami, Group CEO of GXS Bank.

The changes come after the departure of several board members, including former DBS Group Executive Jeanette Wong, Melvyn Ong (Permanent Secretary for Development at the Ministry of National Development and Permanent Secretary for Defence Development at Mindef), and Michael Sim, Executive Director at Platanetree Capital.
