Southern Score Builders Berhad has awarded a RM100,000 incentive to Malaysia’s premier men’s doubles badminton team, Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik, following their historic victory at the 2022 World Badminton Championships held in Tokyo last month.
During a ceremony honoring the athletes’ remarkable accomplishments, Gan Yee Hin, the Executive Director and CEO of Southern Score, presented mock cheques to the champions. A gathering of guests and staff at Southern Score celebrated this achievement.
Gan expressed, “We gather to honor Aaron and Wooi Yik for their remarkable success in bringing home the world title for Malaysia. Their hard work and dedication deserve recognition, and we believe this milestone is just the start of their journey. Our token of appreciation aims to inspire them for further accomplishments and elevate Malaysia’s status in international badminton.”

Grateful for the support, Aaron and Wooi Yik stated, “It is an honor to represent Malaysia on the global stage, and we extend our thanks to Southern Score and the Malaysian community.
