NITDA and Domineum Blockchain Solutions Collaborate for a Major Blockchain Awareness Event
LAGOS, NG, Oct 1, 2022 – (ACN Newswire) – The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), under the Federal Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy, has partnered with Domineum Blockchain Solutions, a leading Distributed Ledger Technology firm in Africa, to host a National digital economy awareness event titled BLOCKCHAIN DAY on October 26. This event will occur during the Digital Nigeria International Conference and Exhibition (Digital Nigeria 2022), running from October 25 to 27, with an expected turnout of over 2,000 blockchain enthusiasts in Abuja.
Digital Nigeria 2022 will take place at the International Conference Centre in Abuja, with this year’s theme focusing on Digital Transformation: A Path to Sustainable Digital Economy. The conference aims to foster discussions on leveraging digital technologies to enhance economic value, emphasizing digital transformation, inclusion, emerging technologies, data protection, innovation, and entrepreneurship in Nigeria.
BLOCKCHAIN DAY will center on advancing the blockchain ecosystem, showcasing successful use cases from Africa and globally. With Nigeria’s rich talent pool and a population exceeding 200 million, the event aims to harness the country’s potential in smart technology. The gathering will bring together global speakers, leaders, and key figures from the blockchain industry, providing a platform for networking, mentorship, and knowledge exchange.
