TikTok Video Shows Furry Culprit Destroying Worksheets
The age-old excuse of “my pet ate my homework” became a reality for one student in Singapore when her rabbit devoured her schoolwork. TikTok user Zeng Wen shared a 15-second video on November 7 showing her rabbit enthusiastically nibbling on a worksheet, with other partially chewed papers scattered around the floor.
In the video, Zeng Wen humorously captioned, “[Teacher], my rabbit [ate] my [homework],” and later added in the comments that she was unsure what excuse to give her teacher before deciding that video proof would do the trick.
Netizens found the situation amusing, with some noting that it was fortunate Zeng Wen had video evidence to back up her claim. Others shared similar experiences of their own pets chewing on their homework, although some expressed concern about the potential choking hazard for the rabbit.
This isn’t the first time a pet has taken a liking to important documents. In 2020, a Malaysian student, Afif Adlan Mohd Hanafiah, vented on Twitter after his cat chewed on his degree. Thankfully, his school, the University of Nottingham, helped him resolve the issue, and Afif vowed to laminate his replacement degree.
Pets certainly have a knack for turning important papers into snacks, as Zeng Wen’s rabbit has proven!
