Teledyne DALSA has announced the release of its new Genie Nano-10GigE series, featuring the industry’s smallest 67 MP camera, designed for high-performance image capture. The new models, M/C8200 and M/C6200, are equipped with Teledyne e2v’s 67M and 37M monochrome and color sensors, delivering superior performance and high-resolution image capture for various applications.
These new 10GigE cameras offer significantly faster interface speeds and higher resolutions, making them ideal for system designers looking for scalable solutions and easy upgrades for applications that require faster data capture and transfer. Manny Romero, Senior Product Manager at Teledyne DALSA, highlighted the exceptional image quality provided by the Teledyne e2v Emerald 67M global shutter CMOS sensor, which excels in high-end optical inspections.
With a compact 59 mm x 59 mm form factor and support for multiple high-speed interfaces, including 1, 2.5, 5GigE, and 10GigE Vision, the Genie Nano-10GigE series allows for seamless integration without the need for software modifications. The cameras are built to support a wide range of industrial applications, such as electronics manufacturing inspection, industrial metrology, intelligent traffic systems, aerial imaging, and sports and entertainment.
Key features of the new series include a robust Trigger-to-Image Reliability (T2IR) framework, multi-region of interest (ROI) capabilities, and compliance with GenICam and GigE Vision 2.0 standards. With an all-metal body and a 3-year warranty, the Genie Nano-10GigE cameras deliver durability and reliability in demanding environments.
